In the fall of the year everything slows down, the temperature drops and we spend a lot more time huddled around crackling fires. This DJ Mix commemorates the beginning of a new show I'm launching on FringFM called "MINDFIRE with Maverick Matthews". It's going to be a collection of stories from my travels and my time in Hollywood along with a Downtempo DJ set. Downtempo is something I haven't worked extensively in so I'm excited to explore new terrain while documenting some of the wild adventures I have been fortunate enough to encounter working as a modern day Wildcatter for more than 25 years. No story in this one though, you'll have to wait for the first episode of MINDFIRE for that..... But this mix is stellar and I am proud to share it with you.
